Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-02-24
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using memopaper (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
memopaper is a cross-device memo buffer accessible via web dashboard, CLI, and MCP server. We provide the Service as-is and may update or discontinue features at any time.
3. Your Account
- ·You must be 13 or older to use the Service.
- ·You are responsible for keeping your API key secure. Treat it like a password — do not commit it to version control or share it publicly.
- ·You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Your Content
You own the memos you save. By saving them, you grant us a limited license to store and serve them to you (and publicly, if marked visibility: public).
We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for any purpose beyond operating the Service.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to store or distribute:
- ·Illegal content or content that violates others' rights
- ·Spam, malware, or phishing content
- ·Private information of others without their consent
You may not attempt to abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service or its API.
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
6. Public Memos
Memos saved with visibility: public are visible to anyone. Do not post sensitive or private information as public memos. You can change a memo's visibility or delete it at any time.
7. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, outages, or issues with third-party providers (Vercel, Supabase, Clerk).
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of data, lost profits, or other damages arising from your use of the Service.
Back up any memos you cannot afford to lose.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
